Will you please say a prayer as Senate is about to vote on health care reform and pray that they won't pass it?

I take it that it passed. This is what Obama posted:
"The Senate just voted to begin debate on a comprehensive health reform bill. America is now closer to real reform than ever in our history."
Isn’t it too late to debate once both houses pass a bill and all he has to do is sign it? There was a Republican congressman (who also has a medical background) who took Obama’s offer to go over the bill line by line. He contacted the White house via phone/fax/email and snail mail for months and they never gave him an appointment. So now that it passed he says let’s debate it?

it passed. :) GOP Party is Ashamed of Me | Nov 21, 2009

yes, we promise to fire those that vote FOR it.

If they pass that bill, there won’t be a single DEMOCRAT left in Washington.

And they KNOW it !

You can pray and hope that it won’t pass so more Americans will die of not having Health Insurance……. I am sure Jesus will be listening

We are Praying and have been for months–This Nation needs GOD’s protection as we will sure not get from the Elected Monkey’s called Democrats.
vwvw30 | Nov 21, 2009

No, I won’t. So, you pray that the millions of Americans without health insurance should continue to go without adequate health care? Thank god I’m atheist.
Lawyer X | Nov 21, 2009

the republicans said it is a DOA in the senate. are they sure about this when there seem to be no stern campaign against the obamacare by the same group?

I’ll pray to Jesus.

The Senate will pray on rugs.

Let’s see who wins.

And yet presumably it was God’s will that Obama and the Congressional Democrats were elected in the first place.

Who are we to thwart God’s will? Why does the GOP hate our Lord?
Quirk | Nov 21, 2009

I absolutely will! These Senators should remember that many of them will become unemployed in 2010 and 2012 if it passes. As will the Congress members who voted for it.
Cinner | Nov 21, 2009

Remember this is the vote that counts.

Anyone voting for this can’t undo their vote when the procedures roll and then they only need 51.

A vote today in favor of this is a vote yes.

You can’t come back and say I voted for it, but only for debate and then I decided to vote against it.

I’ve been praying since the day Hussin got elected. It’s not working.

As long as you have people in the senate who are willing to sell their soul for something in return it’ll pass.
Christine K | Nov 21, 2009

Yes. But it is just a procedural vote. We still have plenty of fight left!
Flags of Our Fathers | Nov 21, 2009

ummmmm, they havent PASSED it

gosh plz go back to govt. class
Libtard | Nov 21, 2009

It won’t do any good anyway. This is all part of a grand scheme for more government control over us. We are turning into the reincarnation of Nazi Germany. Read some history, you’ll see what I mean. And for those of you who scoff, wait until they have to build all the new concentration camps to incarcerate those who can’t afford to buy government mandated health insurance.
YooperInVegas | Nov 21, 2009

I pray that it does, so that I can watch selfish people like you squirm in your seats.
Sky | Nov 21, 2009

Have been praying it won’t pass. Those who are praying it will pass are wanting more people to die due to limitations of health care and letting the bureaucracy decide what treatments will be covered, Jesus is watching. Read your Bible to what is says, not to what someone has told you what it means.
