-wanted- opinions about hair styles/color?
Hello I want a change in my look!
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b382/h urano/Picture37.jpg
I am thinking about this hair style ( of course a shorter style)
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b382/h urano/omg-1.png
with black hair and with streaks in the same place in the next pic ( don’t pay attention to the hair style please) http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b382/h urano/ideabluehair.png

Puppy names. What do you think?
I know these questions happen all the time so I thought I’d throw mine in there and see what you guys could come up with. I’m getting a new puppy soon and I’m thinking up names. I like names from literature so try to think up some literary names for a new puppy. Here are the ones I have:

Male:
Whitman (as in Walt Whitman)
Huckleberry (from Huckleberry Finn)
Puck (from A Midsummer Night’s Dream)

Female:
Biddy (from Great Expectations)
Verona (from Romeo and Juliet)
Desdemona, Dessy for short (from Othello)

So do you guys like any of these? Want to add any of your own?
If you have a suggestion of a name tell me what piece of literature it was from! Thanks!

I really love Verona and Puck. Beautiful and adorable is what they are.

A suggestion from me? Hm… Irene, from Sherlock Holmes. And Lionel, Tippa, or Althea from "Fur".

			doodlelover | Feb 02, 2010

You know, Verona sounds like the most sweetest puppy in the world! Dont let me down!

There is a doctrine today which is absolute falsity ( continue reading)?
——- and out of the mouth of devils. This doctrine places limitations on Father God to save. It basically says that a man can dictate the will of God. The will of God is: 2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsufferin…g to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The word "willing" in the above verse is interpreted in the Greek is "to desire" or in other words, it is not God’s desire that any would be brought to ruin or loss but that ALL should come to repentance. Father does not want anyone to be distanced or separated from Him. Yet, the preachers in the pulpits of organized religion today will tell you that man is separated from God. How can this be possible when Jesus Christ has filled in the gulf that once saw the Rich Man and the beggar man unable to come together? Christ has paid the ransom and sin debt attributed to mankind and thus abolished sin and death!

1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Yet, the doctrine of eternal damnation and torment in everlasting flames of fire and outer darkness prevail. This doctrine is preached as a scare tactic to spread fear within the heart of the lost. This doctrine even makes church going folk question their salvation. …

Is God’s arm too short to save? Isa 33:6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times.

@Dr Bob I do have lots of scripture supports and in context also very well reserched. I can send you a book on PDF file Contact me. If you like
@Dr Bob and Pat or Guy Jesus guy.

You posts make clear what non Christians have always understood about Christianity. That he saves nothing, does nothing, and like every other religion, is the same old

How long will it take to execute my Mothers estate/will?
My mother passed away almost 6 months ago. She had moved to Florida and remarried some years ago. Anyway even after she re-married she always told me, even within the last year, that she had a will and in that will she had left my son money from a retirement account for his college education. As I say it has been 6 months and I have heard nothing from my step-father about any will or inheritance for my son. Does anyone know if there is a certain waiting period after someone dies before their will is executed?

One troubling factor is that my step-father seems to be living the life of Riley since she passed, he even bought a new car, funny because they never had any money before? Anyway it wasn’t a ton of money anyway, it just kinda bothers me to think my step-dad would shaft my son like that. Anyway was hoping these things just take time.
,

It can take awhile for an estate to work its way through probate even with a will. But, if your son is in the will you should have received something telling you the will is being probated. You should contact the Clerk of the Circuit Court in the county your mother lived in to see if her will has been filed. If it has you can ask for a copy, though you will probably have to pay for it…shouldn’t be much. If a will hasn’t been filed you may want to get an estate attorney. Good luck.

i quit karate after 6 years. will i still be able to win a fight?
i started karate at 5 and used to train 2 days a week very hard. i reached my blackbelt at twelve years old. and during classes it wasnt wussy training we sparrred alot and practiced punching and fighting skills and very hardcore too. I am not scronny but im not HUGE but i do have abs and some arm muscle etc. but im on the skinner side ( a normal thirtteen year old body) i have been into 2 BIG fights that actually invoved punching and i won both becuase they were knocked back by the power of my punchand there faces were bruised and bloody and i was pulled off. i was a really tough kid who was scared of noone. but now after about 5 months i seem to be losing confidence. im positive tht i can take alot of kids in my grade but ive realized a fatter kid who is pretty big and a little tallerl is starting to stare at me and i think he wants to fight due to our history. will i still have the skill and power of my punch so if i punch him in the nose i can move around quck and inflict damage?
yes when i was in karate i was a very tough kid. will i always have it in me

First, obviously you didn’t earn that black belt, or you wouldn’t be fighting and thinking about getting into another. Martial Arts are NOT about "beating people up". Martial Arts are about avoiding the fight more than the physical ability to actually "DEFEND" yourself. Ego will get you in trouble. The one thing that is causing the whole problem for you is Ego, YOURS.
I won’t go into the hundreds of moral and legal reasons why fights should be avoided.

Now to answer your question, no in 5 months you shouldn’t see much decrease in your skill or reactions.

			 | Feb 03, 2010

Yes I took karate and kung fu and I quit them ten years ago but I can still beat up someone easy.
Alot of the skill set will always be inside of you. Some of it will be locked in muscle memory.

Fighting is for mindless brutes with tiny penis’s. Don’t be one of those people. The only time you should fight is in the ring or when you are defending you or a loved one.
Keyboard Warrior | Feb 03, 2010

if you’re a tough kid who knows Karate. YES
if you’re a sissy who has a black belt NO

Okay.
I’ve seen a Karate Black Belt at 6foot 180lbs who competed internationally get completely killed. To the point where he didn’t land a single punch and an ambulance was called. There was a lot of blood on the floor. Karate didn’t do that kid any good.

I’ve seen a kid from the same dojo who is much smaller make a kid cry and fall from a single punch.
It depends on YOU

It’s not the Martial Art, it’s the MARTIAL ARTIST
PoP | Feb 03, 2010

I believe that the best thing to do in any confrontation is to try to not get hit.
This helps you learn from them as they teach you their ways and then use your mind as they get tired.
If you are out of practise then some good stretching and some tai chi.
The slow movements will make your training come back better than you think.
I do not mean tai chi literally but your known moves and basic training done at slow speeds to help your muscles recall their purpose.
Keep your footing, stay planted, breathe properly, and wait for them to make a mistake.
Always keep in mind that your training is specific to Karate and not a guarantee of victory.A good tough dirty fighting street brawler will conquer a black belt most of the time if the fight lasts longer than 2 minutes.

I think that a conflict can be better resolved over a beer or a cup of tea than a fight.
I only wish this was the case for every conflict.

How does one get into the animation field?
I want to be able to create my own cartoons eventually. I love the unique worlds such as Cowboy Bebop, or Aeon Flux… and I want to know how to get a job like that.

I graduated from art college several years ago. AAC in the bayarea. If you don’t know anyone who’s in animation field, you can try to present your idea and art work to the teachers in art school. Most of teachers in my school are not professional educator but professional artist. Such as most teachers who is teaching animation may from the big film company. Some of them fly from LA to give us class everyweek.
I thought you may start from their if you go some good stuff. But if you really got some great stuff, be careful with who you deal with. We had sign the contract that all our works belong to school when we were. I have known there some teachers keep student’s idea become their own…

Good animation takes countless time and effort.
Be consistant do not drift in to other things in that area
You can professionalize abything if you just keep on keeping on!

Goodluck, animation is good fun work
bringin life to a character is certainlya great feeling of giving birth.

What do you think about periods?
What do guys think about periods? Just was wondering, because I know what girls think. Would you have sex with a woman who had her period, or would the blood gross you out? Thanks.

				wtf lol
Brock | Feb 04, 2010

				Uhm. well. depends….
Sting King | Feb 04, 2010

From a man’s perspective: I think it is a natural thing that happens. I don’t think it is gross as long as it is like cleaned up and stuff. But i also think that is a painful thing and it is not cool.

Answer mine, thank you:

				Nathan | Feb 04, 2010

ya, I think its pretty gross. It depends on how much she was bleeding
jpbertus | Feb 04, 2010

period blood is just urgh. can’t think of many things i want on me less than period blood.
El Marto | Feb 04, 2010

Disgusting! And the smell! Even more!
Just Me | Feb 04, 2010

I am gay so I wouldn’t have sex with a woman period, let alone that time of the month.
As long as girls don’t talk about it in GREAT detail I’m fine with what ever. I don’t mind the topic comming up but you know some things arejust TMI lol
Even some guy issues are.
